Maintenance Technician I
Austin Recovery provides affordable, effective and compassionate drug and alcohol treatment since 1967. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician I.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Experienced in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, sheet rock, irrigation, grounds keeping and other building maintenance duties, including janitorial
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Inspects grounds and equipment for safety hazards weekly and reports discrepancies to supervisor
- Repairs damaged, broken or inoperative equipment when possible, and assists in arranging for outside repair if necessary
- Experienced with power tools
- Responsible for on-call duties
- Performs other related assignments as directed by Director of Maintenance
Qualifications:
- Must have own tools
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and clean driving record
- Must be skilled in plumbing, electrical, alarms, sprinklers, irrigation, carpentry, floor care and janitorial
- Must have reliable transportation
Education & Experience:
- Three years of maintenance experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED preferred
