Visitation and Driving Directions

Visitation

Visitation is encouraged from family members and others who will be part of your recovery support system. Visitation is for friends and family that participate in the family program, which begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoons until 3:30 p.m.

Doors open from 12:15 p.m. until 12:55 p.m. At 12:55 p.m. doors close to begin the one-hour lecture from 1-2. Children under 12 are allowed to join visitation after 2 p.m.

Please note: Visitation is allowed beginning the second Saturday of treatment for the client. Visitation is not allowed in detox or the first Saturday of treatment unless permission is granted by the client's primary counselor.

The following items may be brought to clients during visitation: money, cigarettes, stamps, medication, diapers, wipes and formula. Other items may be mailed or dropped off anytime other than visitation day.

Driving Directions

Visitation for women clients at Austin Recovery is held at our Edith Royal campus. Visitation for Men’s Residential (approximately 30 days) is held at the Hicks Family Ranch and visitation for Men’s Long Term Residential is held at our Lodge. Get driving directions to any of these treatment facilities.
