The Two-Year Multi-Platform Local Media Partnership involves On-Air, Online, and Mobile Content
Austin Recovery has just announced that they will be KXAN’s Austin Health Partner for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. The program is a means to educate and inform Austin and Central Texas residents about the risk of drug and alcohol dependency, as well as the availability of help locally.
KXAN, the NBC affiliate in Austin, has been on the air locally since 1965, just two years before Austin Recovery was established. “Healthcare is important to the Austin community, and KXAN has a long history of delivering trustworthy news content to the Central Texas area,” says Jonathan Ross, Austin Recovery’s CEO. “It is only natural for us to partner to educate our community on the very serious issue of chemical dependency.”
