Austin Recovery is celebrating 40 years in service to our community. We sponsor events both for our alumni and for the general public to help all become more aware of the illness that is addiction and the new life that is recovery.
- Gateway to Recovery offers a twice monthly educational series where families come to learn about the disease of addiction. This is free to the general public and is a great source of information and support for anyone seeking help for a loved one struggling with addiction.
- Second Saturday is a free monthly workshop for those who have already begun their recovery journey. Each month we bring exciting professional speakers to discuss a different aspect of recovery that may help make the journey as fulfilling as possible. These workshops are free on the Second Saturday of every month except December. Come join us and bring a friend. No registration is required and continuing education credits are available. To receive an e-mail reminder announcing our upcoming workshops, please contact: cwilson@austinrecovery.org
- The Fellowship of the Prodigal is a weekly worship service that meets weekly in the gym at Austin Recovery each Sunday evening at 6 PM. Clients can attend voluntarily and all members of the recovery community and their families are invited to participate. Sermons are generally available online weekly. To receive an email sermon regularly, contact: cwilson@austinrecovery.org
- Austin Recovery's Alumni Association sponsors dances, barbeques, spiritual retreats, and volunteer opportunities along with regular weekly meetings. To find out how you can participate or to volunteer time or talents, please contact ltavernier@austinrecovery.org
We also provide weekly sermons and services each Sunday.
